Seventy five Christmas dinners have been delivered – along with Christmas presents – to those who need them in the Kirkstall Valley.
The delivery was organised by the Kirkstall Mafia, a group of community organisations and businesses. Posting on social media, the ‘Mafia’ posted:
“Thank you so much to all the volunteers and staff who made it happen and those who delivered. Extra thanks to Butler’s for lending us their kitchen, CEG for sponsoring, Hookers and Clickers (group members) for providing the presents and Morrisons for lending us Sarah, their Community Champion.
“We are blessed to have such wonderful people making the Kirkstall Valley a better place to live. You’re all amazing.”
