The site of the former Kirkstall Hill Community Centre WILL be transformed into nine houses.
The centre, off Eden Mount, was demolished more than a decade ago and the land has sat empty since.
Plans submitted by Ian Precott from Mood Developments for the site have now been approved by Leeds City Council. The proposals include nine terrace houses in two blocks. There will be three visitor car parking spaces.
The plans, which drew one local objection, were approved subject to a number of conditions relating to a number of issues, including building materials and timescales.
The council report approving the plans can be found here.
