Planners have approved plans for new office block on the Kirkstall Forge site in a move that could create 2,400 jobs.
Members of the council’s south and west plans panel gave the green light to developer CEG’s detailed plans for the seven-storey block with basement parking.
As reported last week, the development already has outline planning permission approving the principle of the development and access. This latest application dealt with specific layout, positioning, landscaping and design.
Kirkstall Forge is set to be a major development in Leeds. A new train station is set to open on the site later this year, paving the way for 1,050 new homes, 300,000 sq ft of offices and 100,000 sq ft of retail, leisure and community space.
