Kirkstall Art Trail organisers are looking for artists from West Leeds and the surrounding areas to exhibit at this year’s event.
The Kirkstall Art Trail began last year and featured over 40 artists in 20 different venues. The event is organised entirely by local volunteers with a passion for arts and community.
The overall aim of Kirkstall Art Trail is to highlight, showcase and support the local creative community by helping to build networks, individual skills and confidence in the visual arts.
As a result of last year’s success, this year will be extended from a one day event to two, incorporating more venues, more artists, and more opportunities to learn new creative techniques at workshops.
Artists can apply here for this year’s KAT on 16th and 17th July.
The trail is the idea of volunteer and Kirkstall resident Amy Thompson.
