Interplay: Armley theatre group appeals for refugee food parcels

Armley-based Interplay creates special theatre that places the audience at the centre of the experience – and is asking for people to get involved with something different.

The group is asking West Leeds residents to help make special food parcels for refugees in Calais. Here’s their appeal:

The kitchen in Calais refugee camp is reaching out for help as food is scarce and they are supporting over 9,000 refugees.

The challenge is to make 1,000 spice bags which are added to food parcels and then distributed across the camp.

Interplay have taken on the challenge and are starting to collect bags, but we need your help! Even if you can just make one spice bag and drop it off at Interplay it makes difference…

So come on Armley, lets see how many we can make!

  • 1 Heaped Tablespoon Paprika
