A new hub will support outdoor educational initiatives in Horsforth’s Hall Park, after councillors approved a grant to support the initiative.
Councillors on the Outer North West Community Committee approved an application from the Friends of Horsforth Hall Park for a storage container for Horsforth Hall Park.
The container will serve as a central hub for outdoor educational initiatives and help better organise and grow their activities. The Friends were awarded £2,728 towards the initiative.
Three grit bins for Horsforth were also funded for £359.
The Outer North West Community Committee met at Yeadon Town Hall. It’s made up of 12 councillors from Guiseley & Rawdon, Horsforth, Otley & Yeadon and Weetwood wards who make decisions on local issues. The full agenda can be read here.
