Business owners in Horsforth are being invited to decorate their windows for the festive season – and shoppers will this year be invited to vote for their favourite display.
Horsforth Town Council’s annual contest is set to kick off next month, but they are encouraging as many shops and businesses to take part as possible.
They are encouraging business owners to decorate their window in a festive way, and then display a voting QR code.
A spokesperson said: “We are inviting businesses of Horsforth to decorate their windows for the festive season and to make it more fun, we are inviting the people of Horsforth to vote for their favourite display.
“We cannot wait to see your gorgeous window displays!”
Shoppers will be encouraged to vote here.

Entries close on Monday, 1 December 2025. The winning windows will then be announced at the Horsforth Light Switch-on event on Saturday, 6 December 2025.
Clark’s Independence Centre on New Road Side were the winners of last year’s festive window display contest. Runners up were Alanna Eve Hair and Beauty on Town Street and Number 9 Deli on Station Road.
