After the success of bulb planting days in January and March, the Friends of Burley Park group have been awarded further funding to plant more native bulbs in Burley Park.
Their next planting session will be held on Sunday, November 10 – and anyone interested in improving the park is invited to attend.
A spokesperson said: “Do come along and help us to fill the park with flowers – new volunteers are always really welcome.
“We have some bulb planting tools, but if you have your own, or shears or a spade please bring them with you and gloves too if you have them.”
Meet the Friends by the bandstand at 10am – it will finish at 12pm.
The Friends of Burley Park is a community group committed to improving the green space within and around Burley Park.
