Hallowe’en: Join Hollybush for a spooky night of fun

On Saturday 29th October, Hollybush Conservation Centre off Broad Lane will be hosting a Halloween Special from 4.30-8pm, writes Eleanor Conradie.

Parents are invited to bring their under-10s to our Dark Garden, where they can follow the candle-lit trail to complete our Halloween challenges; bob for apples, see what is hidden in our Beastly Buckets, toast marshmallows on the fire, and make a wand or a little broomstick.

Children £5 each and adults £1 each on the door. All activities are included, and a small treat will be given if the challenge is completed.

Spooky hot food and drink will be available from the café – baked potatoes, parkin and bonfire toffee.
Please feel free to dress up.

Tickets are available at www.eventbrite.co.uk. Search Hollybush Halloween.

The Conservation Volunteers have been reclaiming green places since 1959. Through our own environmental projects and through our network of 2,000 community groups, we help hundreds of thousands of people across the UK to take responsibility for local green places.
