A former barber shop on Armley Town Street is set to become a hot food takeaway after Leeds council planners approved the application.
The new takeaway will employ five full-time-equivalent staff and operate between 8am and 11pm daily (9pm on Sundays and bank holidays).
Customer parking is available within marked bays to the front, which are subject to waiting for two hours.
A council planning officer’s report states:
“it is not anticipated that there will be any harm to the amenity of local residents arising through noise, vehicle / person movements, waste disposal, or extract smells / noise / odour associated with the takeaway use.”
The plans were submitted by Mr Amjad Ali and can be viewed in full here.
