Kirkstall in Bloom invite you to get involved with our community garden, writes James Corah.
Spring will soon be here, the warmer weather and sunlight means the spring and summer plants will start to look gorgeous, and there are still ways in which you can help us prepare the Drink and Be Grateful Fountain Garden to look blooming marvellous.
At the Drink and Be Grateful Fountain Garden a team of volunteers are needed to clear and transform the library wall end.
During the session we will also be tending to the Drink and Be Grateful Fountain Garden, looking after the Cenotaph, and checking out the Leisure Centre Garden.
We would like you to get involved, no experience is necessary (we’ll supply tools and guidance).
We are a very friendly and welcoming group. Volunteers would be surprised by the variety of ways they can help us whatever their ability.
Kirkstall in Bloom’s March session runs on Sunday, March 26 from 10.30am-12.30pm.
