Villagers in Newlay are invited to don their wellies and get green-fingered at an event this weekend.
Members of the Newlay and Whitecote Residents’ Association (NAWRA) are tidying the community garden on Saturday 18th November from 10am to noon.
A NAWRA spokesperson said:
“We are holding a final tidy before winter truly sets in on. Please come and help if you can. Some tools will be provide but its always worth bringing a trowel if you have one. Wear appropriate clothes and footwear for gardening.
“We’ll probably be splitting some plants that have gone a bit mad so if you are looking for plants for your own garden then come along.”
