Campaigners hoping to take over the former TV Harrison ground in Wortley are holding a fun day with family activities and a football match on Saturday, 30 July.
The day starts at the Oldfield Lane site at 12pm with a raft of activities for young and old.
There will be an ice cream man, Highfield Methodists have a kids’ craft table, an inflatable slide and Nerf shooting.
There are lots of activities for kids including crafting, skipping, tug of war, hula hoops, face painting, hair braiding and more.
There’s also a tombola and raffle and refreshments including tea, coffee and cake.
A charity football match kicks off at 1pm and organisers are hoping to get some well-known faces from TV and football there.
All welcome to attend.
