Council highways chiefs have announced a package of footpath and carriageway repairs along Pudsey Road in the New Year.
These works will run from Wickes roundabout to the junction of Henconner Lane and include a resurface of the footways and adjusting and then realigning some kerbs.
Work is due to start Tuesday, 3 January 2023 and is expected to take around 10 weeks to complete the footpath phase. Works are scheduled to take place Monday to Friday from 9.30am to 3.30pm.
Works are then scheduled for a full carriageway resurface of the section when we will require a full closure and diversion of the road to all through traffic.
The carriageway resurface will commence shortly after the footway is completed and is due to start 13 March 2023.
