First Bus are introducing a range of bus fare changes across Leeds and West Yorkshire from today.
Single tickets will remain capped at £2 as part of the Mayor’s Fare, which can still be bought on the bus through cash, contactless or Tap on Tap off, or on the First Bus App.
A spokesperson said: “This is part of our regular annual review so we can continue developing a sustainable bus network, keeping bus travel affordable and helping customers as we manage rising costs and maintain investment.”

The £2 cap isn’t a “Mayors fare”, its a nationwide initiative.
