The second annual Farsley Literature Festival got under way this week – and promises something for young and old.
The festival takes place in venues across Farsley. As well as Truman Books and The Old Woollen, there are events at Sunny Bank Mills and Farsley Library – all within a few minutes’ walk of each other.
There’s also the chance to meet your favourite authors, panels, workshops, signings, performance and storytelling – and organisers are promising it will be fun, eclectic and entertaining.
Events range from A Short History of Queer Women with Kirsty Loehr to Promoting literacy through creative storytelling and an evening with actor Adrian Edmondson.
There are dozens of events to choose from, including ghost stories, Gothic fiction, gender, family and children’s activities and an evening with actor Paterson Joseph.
Full details of all the festival events and booking details can be found here.
