Farsley Farmers’ Market set for autumn and winter events

By Jo Reilly

The market team are feeling revitalised after their August break and they are ready to launch into the final stretch!

Farsley Farmers’ Market restarts on Saturday, 28 September at St John’s with 14 regular and guest traders outside, and 11 crafters plus friends’ booksale and the market cafe inside.

Some customers come for no other reason than to purchase a paperback and sit down with a coffee! Many others come to discover the delights on sale from our stallholders and select handcrafted gifts to give their favourite people.

Special guests in September will be Farsley Community Orchard. The local children love to come and celebrate #AppleDay with us by squeezing their own apple juice with the traditional apple presses!

For those with a sweet tooth, Mallowdramatic join us too, while RJ Heald will showcase his photography.

Our October, November and December markets will support Yorkshire Wildlife, Hope Pastures and Yorkshire Air Ambulance Charities.

You can rely on these for the cutest Christmas cards and small stocking fillers too. We are also building up to the Farsley Christmas Lights switch on, which takes place on Wednesday, 27 November from around 6.15pm.

Our selection of Christmas stalls can be found below Sunny Bank Mills and will be open for business until 8pm – whatever the weather!
