An exhibition game between Farsley Celtic’s first team and youngsters in the Emerging Talent Squad is the highlight of a busy Saturday at Farsley Celtic Football Club.
The first team don’t have a competitive game on Saturday (14 October) as opponents Curzon Ashton are in action in the FA Cup – but the club has announced an exciting exhibition game instead.
This will be between our first team, who have won two of their last three league games, and our exciting Emerging Talent Squad, who are making excellent progress in this year’s FA Youth Cup.
Kick-off is 3pm KO and entry is free. The kitchen will be serving food and drinks, and The Nest Bar will also be open.
Also on Saturday volunteers from the supporters’ club will be trimming overgrown trees on the ginnel that runs alongside the ground, behind the dugouts.
Volunteers are welcome to join them at the club from around 12pm but attendees are advised to wear suitable clothing.
To complete a busy day at the Citadel there will be a live rock and pop music night at The Nest Bar, with the excellent Neon Dice performing hits throughout the decade. Entry is free. First set is at 9pm. Second is at 10.30pm.
