HOPE aims to remove barriers that people, particularly those from diverse communities, face securing meaningful employment. Support is available in the IT hub with developing English, maths and digital skills as well as help with CV writing, job searching, applications and interview techniques.
The HOPE IT hub is open to everyone in the community to engage with the team at the centre and with a member of the Leeds City Council Employment and Skills team for the support they need in moving closer to the job market.
This designated support enables people to build a trusted relationship with us and seek support as many times as they need it.
If you would like to make use of the new hub at New Wortley Community Centre please come along on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays between 10am and 2pm and ask for our friendly Diverse Communities Support Worker. Or to join Conversation Café on Friday mornings 9am-12am to develop your English and maths skills.
