Leeds: Suicide Prevention – Walks of Hope
September 10

#WorldSuicidePreventionDay. To mark the day, you can join us for 1 of our 7 Walks of Hope, taking place at different locations across Leeds!
Local charities and community groups are coming together this year to #ChangeTheNarrative around suicide and show that no one has to face difficult times alone. Come along to get into nature and talk about how we can find hope during hard times.
Everyone is welcome – there’s no need to book, you can just turn up! Whether you come on your own, with friends, family or colleagues, you are welcome.
There are 7 walks across South, North, East and West Leeds. Take a look through our pictures here to find out which is closest to you.
Most walks take place on 10th September, with one walk taking place on 13th September.

Walks are led by Touchstone, Being You Leeds, Leeds Mind, Hamara Healthy Living Centre, Holbeck Together, Barca Leeds, LS14Trust, and Gipsil, with support from Leeds City Council. These walks are part of the city-wide Change the Narrative work to challenge stigma around mental health.
