Pudsey: Youth Jazz-Rock Orchestra + Community Screening of Euro Final 2024

July 14 @ 5:30 pm

Pudsey Parish Church’s Bicentenary celebrations are still ongoing and continue next weekend with two events in one evening on Sunday, July 14.

From 5.30pm, the Leeds Youth Jazz-Rock Orchestra are playing a concert. The orchestra, one of the City of Leeds Youth Music groups run by Artforms Leeds, is a showcase for young musicians from across the local area, and their vibrant playing combined with the wonderful acoustics of the 200 year old building should make for an enjoyable show.

Tickets cost £7, and are free for under-18s, and can be purchased in advance here, or by calling the church office on 0113 257 7843. Hot dogs, cakes and non-alcoholic drinks will be on sale and doors will be open from 5pm.

The concert will be followed by a community screening of the Euro 2024 Final, which starts at 8pm.

Entry is free, with doors open from 7.30pm. Everyone is welcome, and the church aims to provide a family-friendly environment for anyone who’d like to watch the match.

The church recently launched its appeal to raise £150,000 for repairs to the clock tower and restore Pudsey’s only public clock to full working order.  If you’d like to make a donation, please visit the church clock appeal website.
