This month we have a cracking talk arranged, our very own David Allison and Terry Sykes. Both very good showmen and fabulous growers, they’ve teamed up to share their knowledge. The West Yorkshire Fuchsia and Pot Plant Society which was formed in 1978 in Leeds. We are a small friendly group of gardeners of all ages and backgrounds who enjoy growing fuchsias and all aspects of gardening. We have members throughout Leeds and beyond and welcome anyone who is interested in fabulous fuchsias, pot plants and horticulture in general.
The Society is gaining in strength, with a recent influx of new members. We have a solid core of hard-working members whose teamwork enables the Society to undertake and support numerous activities and events with considerable success. We can look forward to the future with optimism and hopefully like-minded enthusiasts will join the Society and carry on the vision of the founder members.
We also have a varied programme which covers all aspects of fuchsia and plant cultivation, and this also includes occasional guest speakers and workshops. There is the opportunity to exchange plants, tips and experiences in a friendly informal atmosphere.
