Pudsey: VE Day Commemoration

The Pudsey & Farsley Branch of the Royal British Legion invites our community to a special Service of Remembrance and Commemoration on Wednesday 8th May at 7.30pm, held at Pudsey Cenotaph.This poignant event marks 80 years since Victory in Europe Day, as we remember the incredible courage and sacrifice of those from Pudsey who served both on the front lines and the home front during the Second World War.
We welcome all members of the public, veterans’ associations, standard bearers and dignitaries to join us in reflection and gratitude.
Please note: The car park adjacent to the Cenotaph will be temporarily closed for safety during the service.
