Old Woollen: Better Days

April 12 @ 7:00 pm

£18 + Booking Fee. Doors 7pm. Show 8pm. Standing Show.

A hit at the Edinburgh Fringe, this is blistering new gig theatre about the house music revolution, written by Ben Tagoe (Stan Lee’s Lucky Man).

★★★★★ “Grabbed us by the throat… Impressive acting… Excellent writing.. Brilliant tunes” – NORTH WEST END

★★★★★ “Exhilarating… The audience loves it” – THE EDINBURGH REPORTER

It’s 1990. Danny is a 19-year-old who stands at the crossroads of football violence and house music. ‘Better Days’ is a one-man show that takes the audience on a musical journey from 1990 to 1993, combining poetic storytelling with some of the best music from the time. If you were there, you’ll enjoy a nostalgic celebration of a scene that so many people still hold dear in their hearts, but with plenty of twists and turns along the way. If you weren’t, you’ll get a visceral sense of how it felt to come of age in the best era ever!

Please note this is a predominantly standing show – contact access@tam-events.com if you have particular access needs.
