Abbey House Museum: Summer Holidays Street Stories

We’re celebrating summer by bringing our Victorian Streets to life with your favourite stories!
Seek out fairytales, nursery rhymes, and modern classics as you explore our authentic streets from Victorian Leeds.
You might bump into a troll, find the bottom of a beanstalk, smell some gingerbread or have a tea party with a tiger!
There will be lots to spot in our tricky trail, books to read in comfy corners, pictures to pose for and crafts and colouring aplenty! Dress up as your favourite characters to really get into the storytelling spirit, and bring your own books along to read in a quiet spot.
Afterwards, head across the road to explore the abbey ruins and park, and pop in to the Abbey Café for lunch or an ice cream!

Tuesday – Friday and Sunday: 10am – 5pm
Saturday: 12 – 5pm
Last admission: 4.30pm
