Abbey House Museum: Sensory Storytime

Our Sensory Storytime at Abbey House Museum is for families with additional needs who want to take part in our summer holiday themed event.

We will host a session in the Gatehouse using one of the stories from our summer school holidays trail. There will be sensory objects including things to touch and smell, actions we can try together, music to dance along to, or just enjoy the atmosphere.

FREE – Booking required as there are limited spaces to ensure that our sessions are relaxed. Email our Learning and Access Officer for more information and to book on.

Be transported back to the 1800s and stroll the Victorian streets with the authentically recreated shops, pub and houses at Abbey House Museum.
