Kirkstall: Orchard Fruit Tree Planting Preparation

Kirkstall Abbey Park Orchard (access from Morris Lane, near bus stop – opposite No. 76)
We’ll be measuring and marking out the positions for the new trees. Creating a demonstration hole to show the group what do to do. Wheel barrowing the woodchip and compost from the storage area to site. Bring a snack and a drink! Bring gloves, and boots. Wheel barrow useful.
