Kirkstall: Hollybush Course Timetable

We have lots of new courses for you to sign up to at Hollybush, from short taster sessions to full 5 day courses. Come and have a go!
Sessions are free for those in receipt of certain benefits or on a low wage.

There’s something everyone can enjoy!

Creative Woodwork for Wellbeing: Every Monday, 14th September to 12th October from 10:00am to 4:00pm where you will get the chance to learn how to safely use tools to make a planter and a small bench.

Green Woodworking:  Every Thursday, 17th September to 22nd October (not 8th Oct) from 10:00am to 2:30pm where you will learn traditional green woodworking skills, learn knife carving skills using freshly cut wood to make small items for yourself or to give as handmade presents (Christmas is on the way!)

Growing Plants Outside & In:  Every Monday, 21st September to 19th October from 10:00am to 2:30pm where you will learn how to grow and care for plants inside and out of your home, no garden or prior experience necessary!

Craft Taster Session:  Tuesday 29th September 10:00am to 2:30pm – come and learn some different crafting skills using natural materials.

Walk Leader Training:  Friday 9th October 10:00am to 4:00pm and we will teach you what you need to know about being a walk leader.

Woodwork Taster Session Monday 19th October 10:00am to 4:00pm:  Come and have a go at woodworking and learn to safely use tools, no experience necessary.
