Kirkstall Abbey: Volunteer Meeting at The Orchard

Kirkstall Abbey Park Orchard (access from Morris Lane, near bus stop – opposite No. 76)

This session is led by Leeds City Council Ranger – Joe.  Friendly informal.  This an adult event and not suitable for children. Variety of tasks based on what you’d like to do. We’re focused on developing the area around the orchard to optimise wildlife. Especially for bees, hedgehogs and insects. Hot drink provided. All equipment provided. Wear clothes according to the activity and weather. Tough shoes or boots, and warm waterproof clothing as required.
