Calverley Post Office: Fundraising Samosa Chaat morning/afternoon

A ‘charity’ Samosa Chaat morning/afternoon is taking place on Saturday to mark the closure of this popular local post office on Monday 11th March 2024.  Owners Asaf and Waheeda Hussain, who are well known and popular members of the local community, will donate the cost of each samosa chaat bought to one of two local charities. Helping Hands  or Simon on the Streets both are locally based charities that offer practical and emotional support to individuals who are homeless or vulnerable.  Asaf and Waheeda have organised this event as a leaving present to the local community, the post office will close on Monday 11th March, the store will remain open until Monday 18th March 2024.
