Burley: Volunteer Day – Bulb Planting

Thanks to everyone who helped with bulb planting last month. Since then we have received 3,000 Crocus bulbs to plant in the park, so we will be focussing on getting as many of those planted as we can this month. Do come along and help us make Burley Park look even better this coming Spring!

We have some tools, but if you have your own bulb planter, trowel, or a spade please bring them with you and gloves too if you have them.

Meet us by the Bandstand at 10am – we will aim to finish at 12pm.

Looking ahead…

The December Volunteer Day will be on Sunday 14th.

At the end of January, we hope to run a Wassail event with some folk music, maybe a bit of dancing and a procession to both the community orchards.
