Burley: Burley Park Anniversary Plans & Bulb Planting

John Preston, committee member of the Friends, said: “The group has attracted a good regular volunteer turnout in the last year or so and it is great to have another project to undertake that complements the work of Leeds Parks.

“Bulb planting is also a brilliant way to engage more local people in this much valued inner city Park”

Twenty three people volunteered on Sunday 10 November. The group is meeting on Tuesday, 19 November 6.30 – 7.30pm at the Cardigan Centre to make further plans for the anniversary – all welcome. E-mail burleyparkfriends@gmail.com for details.
