This session will look at what news actually is, and where to find it. So if you’re struggling to find story ideas this 90-minute refresher is just for you! We’ll look at different sources, how to find them and how to make contact with them – and maintain them as contacts moving forward.
As an added bonus, we will also spend some time looking at how we develop a story from an idea into something people want to read. How does an interesting post on Facebook become a WLD news story? We’ll take you through the process, with some examples.
