Bramley Mural Project – Ceramic Leaf Workshop – Session 4

A free creative workshop for whomever would like to contribute to our Bramley based mural project

In 2023 we were lucky enough to be given a grant by Leeds 2023 to help us create a community mural on the side of Bramley based premises. This mural was designed by by local people, and then applied by a Bramley artist, to represent the feelings and thoughts of the local community around death, dying and bereavement. We are now moving to the second stage of the project with these workshops.

Firefly pottery and Full Circle Funerals have worked together to create 40 ceramic leaves. Each leaf is available to be decorated, for anyone who may wish to do so, in memory of someone who has died. Once all 40 leaves have been completed we will add these to the bare branches of the tree on the mural, to represent the people we all love who are no longer here in a physical form.

This will be the fourth and final workshop of the project at this stage. There is no financial cost to get involved, as this has been fully covered by Full Circle and Leeds Council. If you have any questions, please contact david@fullcirclefunerals.co.uk for more information.
