Armley: SHEnanigans Wander Women’s New Year Walk (Calverley Woods)

Wander women’s first walk of 2026 will be a circular route of Calverley Woods and youre all invited! We will meet at our usual spot (Home bargains/tesco express carpark on Stanningley Road) at 12.30, pick up anyone who needs a lift and head over to Calverly Woods for a quite possible muddy walk!
Expect mud and uneven terrain, potentially quite wet too so please wear appropriate clothing and shoes. Its a good idea to bring a drink, but there may be a cafe/pub on our route to stop off at for a quick break should people want to.
If you’d prefer to meet there, we will be arriving around 12.45pm in the carpark down at the bottom of Thornhill Drive.
The walk is expected to be roughly 3 miles and around 2.5 hours.
All wander women get a wander women passport and a stamp each time you come along, if its your first walk, Ill have a passport ready for you!
