Armley: Parade – Lantern Building Workshop 1

In this first session we will be making the willow and paper lanterns for the parade, and in the second session (Sunday 03/11/24 at 12:30 till 1:25pm) we will be decorating them. Your ticket covers you for both workshops. But, if you can’t make it to the second please let us know, and you can have undecorated lantern.
The Armley Park Lantern Parade will take place on the evening of Sunday the 10th of November from 4pm.
Because space is limited and becauses of the layout of the venue, we need you to read this carefully and book the space you need for the particiapnts you’ll be bringing.
Please book a table for all people coming, there are tables of 2, 4 or 6 people including at least 1 adult for every 2 children under 8 years old.

If you can’t make it to any of the workshops, keep an eye on the Friends of Armley and Gotts park facebook page and we’ll let you know where you can get kits to make a lantern at home.
If you’re not able to come to a workshop you can still be involved by coming along to the parade on Sunday the 10th November. Check Facebook for full details.
This is a ticket only event this year to make sure there’s ample space for everyone to work on their lanterns.
