Armley: Orchard Tree Planting

Start the New Year by joining us – after our gorgeous planning and apple  day we will be putting your plans into ‘fruition’ and planting trees for our community orchard.
As always everyone is welcome and there will be refreshments too.

The weather isn’t being kind to us and the forecast doesn’t look at all friendly, so we’ve taken the decision to POSTPONE the orchard planting for a month. Digging through the snow and frosty ground isn’t our idea of fun and it’s not ideal for the trees!
We’re now meeting up on SUNDAY FEBRUARY 2ND AT 11:00am at Hill Top, opposite the Travellers Pub.
As before, we’re looking for a great turnout to help get the rees setled into their new homes, and also a lovely chance to meet neighbours, friends, trustees and the Fruit Works team. Not to mention the tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits.
Don’t forget to put the date in your diary and if you’ve got a shovel, bring it along – it would be great to look back in years to come and say to yourself “I helped plant that”
