Left Bank: 23 Poems That Changed the World

Join us for this lovely little poetry club in celebration of Leeds City Of Culture 2023!

FORTNIGHTLY – on first and third Wednesday of every month starting on February 1st & 15th, hosts Sarah Autumn and Denetta Copeland from Between The Lines will facilitate an exploration of a poem and how it impacted the world.

You can participate in the poetry group however you choose. Contribute your thoughts, ask questions, respond to the poem creatively or simply enjoy listening to the poem and discussion.

The first few poems will be selected and shared by email with group members ahead of the the first meet up in the New Year. As the year progresses, the group will select poems for future weeks together. If you’d like to suggest a poem for one of our first meetups email btlleeds@gmail.com

Places are limited so book your tickets now to ensure a spot. Once booked, you’ll receive your first poem by email ahead of the first group in the New Year.

(The cost per meet up is £5.00 per person (+ booking fee = £5.98) or you can book the whole year (23 poetry club meetups) for £95.00 (+ booking fee =£103)  = four meetups free!).

If you book but are unable to attend, you can rearrange (if the session you select is not already fully booked). However, you will still receive your poem by email.
