Rain could not stop the fun at Sunday’s Churches Together (in Bramley and Stanningley) free fun day.
Instead of being held in the grounds of St Peter’s Church (the one with the spire) organisers moved the event into the church.
Representatives from St Peter’s, Bramley Baptist, Trinity Methodist, Copper Beech and St Thomas’s churches all came together. There was crafting, carnival games, and face painting. A fire engine from Stanningley Fire Station was also present.
St Peter’s Reverend Julia Wilkins said: “We wanted to bless the community of Bramley, and we realise how expensive it can be to have days out and to different festivals and fairs. We wanted this to be a free fun day out for people in Bramley. We hope they had a good time.”
