Toy appeal launches at Kirkstall Deli Market

A Christmas toy appeal is being launched monthly Kirkstall Deli Market, which will draw thousands to Kirkstall Abbey this weekend.

The Kirkstall Community Team is launching their appeal for Christmas gifts at the market on 30th July. They’re encouraging people to donate presents for looked-after children aged 0 to 16 years and care leavers aged 16 to 18.

Donation boxes will be placed with local retailers throughout the year and gifts will be presented to the young people at a special Christmas event at Kirkstall Abbey on 12th December.

Ther deli market will feature more than 40 stalls on Saturday and Sunday, from noon to 3pm.
