Castleton Primary School pupils put on an amazing re-dedication of their World War One memorial.
They’d worked with lots of local people and other organisations to research the history of the conflict and put on a special display.
The plaque, which bears the name of 80 local men from the Leeds Pals, was placed in Castleton in December 1919. Around 1,000 young men from Leeds left the city as part of the Leeds Pals, only for most to perish on the battlefields of the Somme in March 1916.
The children put on some amazing performances during the event.
