ORIGINAL POST: Upper Town Street in Bramley enjoyed a few hours of tranquility on Saturday morning (25 June) when Yorkshire Water were forced to close the road to through traffic due to a burst water main.
The closure was put in place at around 10am. A Yorkshire Water employee told WLD that the emergency repair was expected to be completed in two to three hours.
The road was dug up between Ashlea Gate and Ashlea Green opposite Bramley Park. Diversions were put in place for buses and through traffic.
