Weʼre raising £1,500 to Help fund a new Peace Garden at the site of Bramley War Memorial, Bramley Park entrance, writes Frances Barker..
There are 505 names included on Bramley War Memorial, all local men and one woman who fell for their country between 1914 and 2011.
Everyone has a story worth sharing.
Friends of a War Memorial for Bramley, a non profit organisation initiated a charitable memorial fund in order to build a memorial dedicated to the brave men and woman of Bramley, Rodley and Stanningley who made the ultimate sacrifice.
The War Memorial was unveiled on 4th August 2014.
The ongoing fundraising is to raise funds to establish a Peace Garden and to maintain the activities planned to execute the mission of remembrance for future years.
Help me raise £1500 towards a Peace Garden at Bramley War Memorial please #donate on @justgiving and RT. Thanks! https://t.co/56faoWpj0d
