Bramley Community Centre will be the location for a special event being held on Tuesday 19th November to mark International Men’s Day, writes Keely Bannister.
Taking place from 2pm to 5pm, the free event has an action packed schedule including:
- Talk by Leeds Museums Curator Pat Bourne about how men’s roles have changed over time
- Men’s Health talk by Prof Alan White
- Live music from Tim Gomersall and Hawk Hudson
- Information stalls about local services and activities
- A chance to try Talkaoke (like karaoke but your chance to speak not sing).
The event is jointly organised by Better Together in West Leeds and West Leeds Men’s Network, who will be providing free food and refreshments.
