A former school annexe in Bramley is set to be sold by cash-strapped Leeds City Council.
Hollybush Annexe is a two-storey building that has been empty since 2022. It was formerly part of Hollybush Primary School and is ‘no longer of operational use’ to the council.
A council report released this week said: “The property is surplus to council requirements and no reason has been identified to justify its retention.
“In these circumstances, its disposal represents prudent and economic asset management, obviating holding costs associated with managing the property.”
The property is set to be sold on the open market at auction this financial year.
The report says Bramley & Stanningley councillors Kevin Ritchie and Tom Hinchcliffe (both Labour) had no objections.
The full report can be read here.
