It’s that time of year again! The Bramley Christmas lights switch on is being held in Bramley Shopping Centre car park on Friday (November 27).
Entertainment starts at 4pm when the Phoenix Children’s Foundation Shetland Ponies will be paying a visit. From 5pm there will be carol singing by local schools, puppets and music from Horsforth Brass Band.
Ronnie the Rhino and Elvis impersonator Dean Craig will also be putting in an appearance.
Ronnie and Santa will be switching on the lights at about 7pm, and a firework display will follow.
As the Christmas lights go on, Bramley Elderly Action will be asking you if you could be a volunteer driver.
The charity, which supports older people in Bramley, Swinnow and Stanningley, is looking for new volunteers to help their members get out and about on trips and activities.
BEA are asking volunteers for a commitment of about three hours a week or more. In return you would get full training and a MIDAS qualification to drive a minibus.
