Bramley Aldi manager celebrates work milestone at supermarket

An Aldi colleague in West Leeds is celebrating a work anniversary milestone this month after working at the supermarket for 20 years.

Bramley store manager Dean Logan first joined the supermarket in 2001. Over the years he has managed five stores across West Yorkshire, including Kirkstall, and has trained a number of junior colleagues across the region.

Dean has also gone above and beyond his typical store duties by taking part in a range of fundraising activities, including an eight-hour long sponsored cycle in the Summer of 2018 to help raise money for Aldi’s dedicated charity, Teenage Cancer Trust.

Speaking about his long service, Dean said:

“I can’t believe I’ve been at Aldi for 20 years. I can easily say that no two days have ever been the same, which has allowed me to learn so much on the job. I feel proud knowing that over the years I’ve been able to pass on my knowledge and play a part in the development of colleagues.”

Adam Ward, Regional Managing Director at Aldi UK said:

“Colleagues like Dean are the cornerstone of our business and I thank him for his continued dedication throughout the last 20 years. Hopefully we work together for many more years to come.”
