Horsforth Walk of Art is seeking proposals from local artists and groups for creative workshop proposals and paid opportunities in August.
Artists involved in all sorts of art are invited to apply to run the artist-led workshops, whether it’s street art, skateboard art, sewing, jewellery, digital art or watercolour.
The workshops will be supported by Horsforth Arts Society volunteers and a DBS checked member of the council and is supported by the council’s Outer North West Community Committee.

There will be ten workshops every Friday during August from 10am to 12pm for ages seven-11 and from 1pm to 2pm for ages 11-14, with a maximum of ten children in each group.
The workshops will be held upstairs at Horsforth Art Society on Back Lane in Horsforth and as such there are no accessibility facilities.
Artists applying should be engaging, enthusiastic and eager to teach young people your craft/skill and preferably have taught workshops or classes previously.

Payment for each session will be £170 plus materials, as per artists’ union rates of pay.
Applications close on June 7 and you can apply with an outline of your idea or a video of yourself and you can contact Horsforth Walk of Art for the questions required and details of where to send your video.
