What would make parks in Armley better for you? That was the question put to families by local resident Emma Bearman recently, writes John Baron.
Emma, who ran playful activities for children from her Playbox shipping container in Charlie Cake Park last summer, posted her questions and answers on Twitter – with local concerns including:
– Dog fouling and clearing up after animals
– Lack of play facilities and equipment
– Parks are popular

The questions come less than a month after a public meeting held by local councillors in the Whingate area of Armley decided it wanted housing instead of a play area.
