Armley Forum goes online to discuss community issues

Armley Forum will meet to discuss community issues for the first time since January last year.

The regular meeting took a break due to the Covid-19 pandemic, but will be held online on Tuesday, 27 April 2021 at 7pm via Zoom – and Armley residents are being invited to attend.

West Yorkshire Police will provide an update on crime and Connecting Leeds will provide the latest on £20m improvement works to tackle traffic congestion on the A647, including the Pickering Street/Armley Park Road junction.

A representative from the council’s parks and countryside department will provide an update on proposals for the new playpark at Armley Park.

People can join Zoom meeting here. Meeting ID: 681 4113 3940; Passcode: 090037.

The forum is run by Leeds City Council and chaired by local councillors.
